BW Standards Survey - introduction

British Waterways has now published 79 minimum Customer Service Standards(CSS) and intends to consult on them annually, but has not set up a consultation process for 'year zero'. Dowload CSS from BW

NABO has decided to assist BW with this and would like your input.

The main feedback form lists the published standards and asks you to rate them using option buttons according to which ones you think are most important, and how well you think BW is achieving them at present in your area. A secondary form can be summoned in its own window for comments on existing items and suggestions for subjects you think are missing from the present published list.

The purpose of using a separate window is so you can still see the text of the standards on the main form as you make each comment. To keep the comments window small there is only room to comment on one item at a time. When you have written your comment and entered the number of the item it refers to, click [SUBMIT]. That comment will be sent off, the form will clear and you can use it for the next item you want to comment on. (We hope you are suitably adept at sizing and handling windows on your computer. To include a comments box for each standard in the main form would make it unmanagably ENORMOUS!)

Getting Started

Select the region you know best from the list below. This will bring up the standards rating form. Near the top of that is a link to bring up the comments window.

We suggest you take your time to read and think about the standards before you start clicking or typing. Maybe even go off-line, discuss them with someone else or at least 'step back' to think if there is anything missing.

Reconnect and use the comment form for what you have thought is missing, then work your way down, commenting and clicking the rating buttons for the standards on the list. Submit the main form last.

Good luck with it and thanks
